Two Views Tour

I was privileged to attend the Two Views Tour today here in Orlando with two of the top photographers in the world, Joe Buissink and Yervant. These two photographers are icons in our industry and I was in complete awe. Joe Buissink's studio is in Beverly Hills and while he might not be a household name, his clients certainly are. He has shot weddings for Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey, Hillary Swank & Chad Lowe, Kelsey Grammer, J. Lo, and the list goes on and on. Yervant's studio is in Melbourne, Australia and has shot weddings all over the world. They talked about their work and what keeps them fresh and what inspires them to do what they do. In the afternoon, they had a model come in and showed us how they shoot and interact with their subjects. It was an amazing, amazing experience. And I also got a signed print from Yervant that is going to get promptly framed and hung in my house!

Fun in the sun

I got to spend the afternoon with my nephew yesterday and we went to a local community water park. I think he was having a good time, don't you?! I cannot tell how hard it is to photograph a 4 year old running at top speed from one side of the park to the other! It was a perfect day, extremely warm and a great spot to cool off at.

Checking things out before he takes the plunge

Emma & Zoey

I was so thrilled that I got to photograph two of my favorite little girls on the planet today, Emma and Zoey. I photographed them for the first time back in October and they've grown SO much! We started off downtown this morning with just Emma and met up with Zoey a little later. They were so good for me and did an amazing job! Emma is such the pro. Here are just a few of my favorites so far. Thank you E and Z for letting Miss Suzie spend the morning with you again!

Little Gray took a little bit to warm up to me, but he was all smiles by the time we finished. And Ellie is just TOO cute!! Here is a preview as I just started to process these. And thank you Scott & Retse for letting me photograph your beautiful family!

Steve & Christy say "I DO"

I was truly honored to photograph Steve & Christy's wedding on Saturday. The are a special couple, who I adore, and I am proud to call my friends. They were married at Paradise Cove in Orlando, which is such a beautiful venue. Unfortunately, we had a mini-monsoon and it rain harder than I've seen in a long time! We were going to do the formal group portraits outside in a gazebo, but no such luck with rain pouring down. So we decided to do them on the balcony of the hotel suite and it worked out perfect. The rain stopped, the skies opened up, and the most beautiful rainbow appeared! It was unbelievable!

Here is a sneak preview as I'm just beginning to process them. Steve & Christy, I can't thank you enough for allowing me to be part of your special day. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!!!
