Florida Strobist Meet

I was honored to attend the first ever Florida Strobist Meet Sunday near Sebring, Florida. It was organized by two awesome photographers, Nick Haskins and Jake Carter. There were about 30 or so photogs there and 4 fabulous models. It was mainly to get together to learn about strobes and off-camera flash photography. I learned SO much and can't thank everyone enough for all their knowledge and advice. And it was also great to meet some really great photogs from all over Florida. And to put some faces to the names of people I admire and correspond with all the time. At the end of the day, Tiffany and her boyfriend Mike participated in a great Trash-the Dress session in the muddy swamp!!! Thank you two for being such great sports about it! I don't think I could have done what you two did! I'm still post-processing the pics and hope to have some up soon. Here are two group shots taken wirelessly by Nick's camera and about 4 wireless strobes.

One of the guys made a video clip of the entire day and it turned out AWESOME!! Check it out here.

Denise came along with her sister to this meet and wound up being one of our models!
