Madison & Mackenzie

I photographed my good friend Melissa, Clint and their two girls this morning in Kraft Gardens in Winter Park. The girls are SO freaking adorable!! Madison is almost 3 and Mackenzie is 8 months. We did Christmas photos first in their way too cute dresses below, then had some fun in some other outfits. How cute is the tutu and the pink cowboy boots??! They are starting to get used to Miss Suzie having a camera in their face! That's a good thing because I'm not stopping anytime soon! I'm just starting to process them, but here's a few of my faves so far.

Longboat Key

I took a much needed break this weekend and went with my mom, sister & nephew to Longboat Key (near Sarasota) to visit my aunt and uncle again. I just love it down there. My nephew is 3 1/2 now and had a blast! We went to the marina next to their house and he got to see the yachts, and some fish, and pelicans, etc. I love to see stuff through his eyes, everything is so exciting. I can't thank my aunt & uncle enough for their hospitality, good food and good times. I haven't posted any pics of my nephew in a long time, so here are a few of my faves. He's getting so big!

It looks like stripes across my sister's shoulder but it was actually the sun rays

Scott, Kelly, Jackson & Lilly

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting Scott & Kelly and their two adorable children, Jackson & Lilly, for a quick session. They are a great couple with beautiful children!! The weather hasn't exactly been cooperating lately for photos, but thankfully the rain held off for us that morning and the spot they chose in their neighborhood was just gorgeous. Just look at the awesome cobblestone bridge and gazebo. Jackson and Lilly were so great and did so good for me. That is the one thing I love about photographing families, getting to meet really great people. Thanks so much, Scott & Kelly! Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

I just love this mother-daughter moment

Andy, Michelle & Eian become a Family

My dear friend, Michelle, who is as beautiful inside as she is out, married her great love, Andy, on Sunday in Kraft Gardens. They truly are the most amazing couple and it re-affirms my faith that true love can still be found. Their love story is nothing short of fate. I was honored and humbled when they asked me to photograph their most special day. They both wanted a very casual, laid back affair and it was perfect! They couldn't have done it any better. Michelle's son, Eian, was very much included in the ceremony. Not only did they write their own vows, they wrote vows to Eian, which is where I completely lost it! It was beyond beautiful. And as was announced at the end of the ceremony, I am proud to pronounce "A Family". I wish you all the best of luck and a lifetime of love and happiness!!! Here is just a preview of my faves.

Vacation

I just returned home from a wonderful, relaxing vacation in the mountains of North Carolina. My aunt and uncle have a home in Flat Rock, NC (which is in Western NC near Asheville) and me & my mom went up to visit and see some Fall color. Unfortunately, because of the heat and lack of rain, the leaves are just now beginning to change so there was very little color to be seen. Bummer. Oh well, it was great to get out of the Florida heat and humidity for a few days and enjoy some breathtaking scenery. We spent a day in Highlands and Cashiers. I actually didn't take a lot of photos, which is surprising. But here are a few of ONE tree I managed to find that was starting to change.

Greg, Lori & Avery

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Greg & Lori and their ADORABLE little girl, Avery, in their hometown of St. Augustine. Greg and Lori are good friends with my good friend, Melissa, who drove me up to photograph them on Sunday. We thought their Alma Mater, Flagler College, and the beautiful historic town of St. Augustine would be a great setting for photos. How often does it rain in Florida on a Sunday morning??! Uh, never. But figures, of all days it decides to downpour! Oh well, we made the best of it. And how cute is Avery??! Oh my gosh, just look at those eyes!! She is just precious!! The bottom two photos are of Melissa's daughter Madison, who is 2 1/2 and absolutely gorgeous. We're going to go up again in December and try for better weather, but here are a few of my faves. Just starting to post-process them so keep checking back for more!!

Emma and Zoey

I had a blast photographing Emma and Zoey on Sunday morning for portraits that are going to be a surprise for their daddy (luckily he doesn't read my Blog!). Emma is about to turn 4 and Zoey is 19 months. How cute are these two little girls?!?!?! I think we have two future supermodels on our hands! They were SO good and did such a great job for me! And it was such a beautiful morning; breezy and sunny with a touch of Fall in the air. Here are a few of my faves. I have SO many faves, they all turned out soooooo good!!

Here is a slideshow of some of the pics. There's music so make sure your speakers are turned up! Click on the white arrow in the middle to start.
